Macedonia Church of Christ

About Us

We are a group of Christians who believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God and is the final authority on all things pertaining to life and godliness (2 Timothy. 3:16 - 17). We believe that the Bible tells us that Jesus is the only path unto Heaven (John. 14:6), and that you must be immersed in baptism to be added to the Kingdom of God (Romans. 6:4).

What to Expect

At Macedonia Church of Christ, our worship is guided by Scripture and centered on honoring God in spirit and truth.

We sing congregationally, without instrumental accompaniment, following the pattern given in Colossians 3:16 and Ephesians 5:19, lifting our voices together in praise and encouragement.
We devote specific times in our worship to prayer—bringing our cares, thanksgivings, and petitions before our Father in Heaven, as instructed in Philippians 4:6.
Each Lord’s Day, we partake of the Lord’s Supper, as instituted by Christ in Matthew 26:26–29, remembering His sacrifice on the cross and proclaiming His death until He comes.
We also give from our financial means to support the work of the church and assist those in need, in keeping with the instructions found in 1 Corinthians 16:1–2.
Our minister delivers a sermon from God’s Word to encourage, challenge, and strengthen our faith, fulfilling the charge found in 2 Timothy 4:2.

What Must I Do to Be Saved?

At Macedonia Church of Christ, we follow the plan of salvation as revealed in Scripture. God’s Word lays out a beautiful, transformative path for every believer:

🔹 Hear the Gospel
Faith begins with hearing the Word of God. (Romans 10:17)
"So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God."

🔹 Believe in Jesus Christ
Believe that Jesus is the Son of God, the Savior of the world. (John 20:31)
"These are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God..."

🔹 Repent of Sin
Turn away from sin and choose a new direction—one that follows Christ. (Luke 13:5)
"Unless you repent, you will all likewise perish."

🔹 Confess Your Faith
Confess before others that Jesus Christ is Lord. (Matthew 10:32)
"Whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before My Father who is in heaven."

🔹 Be Baptized for the Forgiveness of Sins
Be buried with Christ in baptism and raised to walk in newness of life. (Colossians 2:12)
"Buried with Him in baptism... you also were raised with Him through faith."

🔹 Live Faithfully
Remain steadfast, walking in faith and growing in grace until the end. (2 Timothy 4:7–8)
"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith..."
